Archangel Uriel is the Angel of Death, designated to reap the souls of the Righteous God’s imperfect beings, and guide them to their next stage in the cycle. As a Seraph, a Pillar of Heaven, there are many expectations upon their delicate, decaying shoulders.

There is much to fret about in their life, but it all changes on day upon encountering a lilin demon in the throes of passion. Taken with their beauty, the awkward Uriel attempts to form a friendship with the voluptuous devil in hopes of forming some kind of connection. Any connection. They’re not sure what to do with their attraction.

The nameless demon is charmed more than they’d like to admit by the angel, humoring them, until it is no longer humoring but a genuine connection. And in such unfamiliar territory, the two of them fumble together in hopes of finding what exactly it means to be in love.
